Mary Li

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mary is a global travel tech entrepreneur with an impressive track record and a passion for flying. Atlas is Mary’s third travel tech start-up, following Wingon Travel and then ASLAN, which became the largest air ticket platform in China before being acquired by Alitrip (Fliggy).

Clive Ashmore Butler

Chief Customer Officer

Location: Singapore
Favourite travel destination: Argentina

Clive has over 20 years’ experience in aviation across APAC and Europe. He has a track record delivering revenue growth and building strategic partnerships at Jetstar, Qantas and Scandinavian Airlines. At Atlas, Clive is responsible for establishing partnerships with travel sellers and providing them with comprehensive, high-quality air content, performance and seamless customer service. 

Liujie Yang

Chief Technology Officer

Location: Hangzhou, China
Favourite travel destination: Thailand

Liujie has over 15 years’ IT architecture experience, with extensive background in cloud computing, e-commerce, and telecom industries. He has worked in Alibaba cloud and Huawei, leading a team implementing multiple international projects such as City Brain, Big Data, and telecom CRM projects.

Wei Zhang

Co Founder & Head of Growth

Wei is a tech and product specialist in the airfare industry with extensive experience in airline integration and booking process for over 15 years. His career includes leading B2B airfare platforms in China and in India, as well as Alitrip (Fliggy) which is a major B2C travel platform in China. Wei enjoys drilling into the depths of things, connecting the hard dots beyond what’s obvious.

Shirley Huang

Shirley is a seasoned finance professional with over 15 years of global experience across financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, Royal Bank of Scotland, and J.P. Morgan. From investment banking and private equities to asset management, Shirley leverages her expertise in venture capital market business strategy insights and macroeconomics to provide consultation on best financial practices and capital market strategies, including matters related to fundraising, ESOP and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). 

Marijke Timmers

Chief Marketing Officer

Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Favourite travel destination: Cambodia

Marijke has more than 20 years of experience marketing some of the world’s fastest growing companies, delivering high-impact, measurable marketing and customer experience programs. As well as holding multiple senior marketing roles, she has consulted for finance, travel, education, fitness and beauty businesses. Marijke is passionate about bringing purpose-led brands to life.

• Enabling the mobility of international teachers to poverty-stricken communities;
• Connecting technology students from underprivileged backgrounds with hands-on learning opportunities in our development teams;
• Identifying the impact of travel & tourism on popular destinations and offer more sustainable alternatives; and
• Analyzing the impact of travel booking search in terms of carbon emissions and identify solutions for the industry to reduce impact.
