About the Role:
Are you a seasoned revenue management professional seeking a new challenge in the travel technology sector? As the Revenue Operations Manager at Atlas, you will play a key role in the development and execution of our revenue strategy, aiming to solidify our market presence and drive revenue growth through strategic revenue management practice.
Internal Relationships:
This role will report to the Head of Growth. As a Revenue Operations Manager you will work closely with Key Account Managers to develop pricing plan and its operationalization, collaborating finance team to develop budget plan, shaping the capability of our trading system with product and tech team, and also driving key campaigns to ride on growth momentums together with broader part of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Revenue Management Strategies:
- Support the formulation of revenue management strategies and framework by taking into account different scenarios in clients’ workflows, demand patterns, and fare competitiveness.
- Translate these strategies into actionable plans and continuously identify opportunities and experimentations to enhance ticketing volume and optimize trading yield.
Design and Execute Revenue Campaigns:
- Partner with account managers to analyze clients’ key sales moments, passengers’ shopping behaviors, and traffic patterns (such as seasonality and sales campaigns).
- Lead the design and implementation of major revenue campaigns that leverage these insights to maximize revenue opportunities and enhance market presence.
Incentive Operationalization:
- Lead the design of implementation strategies for major incentives that we are getting from airline or other parties.
- Operationalize these incentives to drive increased sales and market competitiveness, ensuring seamless integration into overall revenue strategies.
Revenue Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Play a pivotal role in developing accurate and insightful revenue budget forecasts and collaborate with Finance team to ensure high quality business forecasting
- Create and evaluate multiple revenue scenarios to support strategic planning, ensuring alignment with business goals and market conditions.
Enhance Revenue Models:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in pricing propositions and margin drivers.
- Support the development and refinement of both revenue and commercial models, ensuring they are aligned with market dynamics.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Leverage BI tools to track performance, analyzing, and gathering insights to inform and fine tune the revenue strategies
- Develop detailed reports to communicate the results and effectiveness of revenue operations activities.
- Generate revenue reports to compare actual trading results against budget forecasts, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Drive Trading System Road Map and Enhancements:
- Define business rules associated with maximising revenue and margin performance using automated tools to support execution
- Identify opportunities to advance the technological capabilities of the trading system, focusing on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with data and technology teams to develop and implement predictive and automated trading capabilities using AI/ML, ensuring the system remains cutting-edge and competitive.
Requirements
Key Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management role, preferably within the eCommerce/travel retailing industry.
- Deep understanding of the air travel industry and OTA business models is advantageous
- Highly quantitative, analytical, and data-driven
- Advance proficiency in BI/analytics, excel, and SQL is highly regarded
- Strong familiarity with project management & collaboration tools
